RESULTS

GRADUATION SESSION IN DECEMBER

Increased degree appeals, adding one in December harmonizing disi with university standards, allowing enrollment in UniTrento's master's programs.

TRANSPORTATION

We increased the number of articulated buses reaching the hillside hub and tried to ensure that all of them departed from the city by taking advantage of app tracking. We also introduced the presence of 5/ even in summer.

CONTACTLESS PAYMENTS AND POS

ELECTRICAL SOCKETS

The ability to pay at the machines via app and to reload the cafeteria card with POS at the Povo 1 cafeteria has been included.

Electrical sockets have been placed in all the BUP tables so that everyone can use their own devices for individual study.

COMMUNICATION REPRESENTATIVES/STUDENTS

The creation of the telegram bot to communicate with representatives even anonymously has improved communication with department representatives, allowing us to be even closer to the needs of students.

AGGREGATION

We returned after the post covid period to organize events. We created moments of gathering between courses through aperitifs and gatherings in order to allow everyone to network even outside of their individual course.

SALVAMATRICOLE

We tried to welcome freshmen in their first days of college not only to answer their doubts, but more importantly to introduce ourselves and give them a point of reference.

The Kaltura platform, adopted for uploading lecture videos had several technical issues. We requested and obtained a change to a better platform: Vinapse

ICE IN ENGLISH

We have been working together with the Department Council in order to establish a new three-year ICE degree program, in English

The number of courses with C (critical) and MC (very critical) outcomes, thanks to feedback collected and CPDS work, has halved in the last two years

GOALS

6

5

4

1

STUDENT SECRETARIAT AND EXAMINATIONS

Require the publication of exam dates, class schedules, and graduation committees more in advance so that any critical issues and overlaps can be reported and the student community can be better organized. Require the presence of a person (student or non-student) witness during all oral exams.

SPACES AND CLEANING

2

Identify locations (classrooms A216 and A217, aquarium, cafeteria outside mealtimes) that can be used for group study. Add outlets in classrooms that are still uncovered.
Require more thorough cleaning of classrooms, bathrooms and common areas, and that at least some classrooms and bathrooms remain open until 7:30 p.m. for individual and group study. Ensure that the flooring in the courtyards is replaced with more durable flooring and that maintenance of the facilities occurs more frequently.

3

CONVIVIALITY AND MEALS FROM HOME

Open the small room on the ground floor of the library as a relaxation area and add table soccer in the common areas. Make the aquarium and tables in Povo 2 spaces with microwaves for lunch during 12-14 hours and reopen the room in FBK with microwaves (it was available before the pandemic). Install temporary covered structures in courtyards equipped with tables to eat meals brought from home in a dry and warm place.

TRANSPORTATION

Further increase 5/ rides, especially with articulated buses, also differentiating routes and adding rides departing from student halls. Asphalt Vietnam and delineate parking spaces to optimize space. Ask the municipality for additional space to be used for parking near the University, especially in view of the construction of Povo 3 that will make Vietnam inaccessible. Add bicycle racks and storage spaces for scooters.

ONLINE LESSONS

Ensure that all lecture content is also usable online, both at the university level but also at the departmental level, leading the way for other departments.

ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY

Increase ashtrays and recycling bins (including wet and glass) in outdoor courtyards. Bring alternative and more environmentally friendly solutions for hand drying in bathrooms. Make each pole independent in terms of air conditioning (also introducing self-supporting sources such as photovoltaic panels) so as to limit waste and reduce consumption by turning off lights at night.

7

ORGANIZATION OF INTERNSHIPS PROVIDED BY PROFESSORS

Organization of internships provided by professors
Making sure that any contacts that professors have available to refer students to internships are more accessible and made more prominent and known to interested students.

LM IN VIDEO GAME DEVELOPMENT AND ELECTRONICS

8

Introduce a new interdepartmental master's degree in video game development. Add an electronics-focused track to the existing tracks in the educational offerings

9

NOTES PLATFORM IMPROVEMENT

Designate someone to organize and manage the clipboard platform currently used by students, and have one created for the master's program as well.

POST EXAMINATION QUESTIONNAIRES

10

Conduct anonymous post-exam questionnaires to get feedback to professors and verify that the lessons given are adequate and effective in passing the exam, in addition to the one already on ESSE3.

13

11

12

AVOID OVERLAPPING EXAMINATIONS

Structure the examination calendar so that there is no overlap (or excessive proximity) in the dates of mandatory examinations

IMPROVE THE CONNECTION BETWEEN STUDENTS AND COMPANIES

Create partnerships between companies and students by incentivizing and expanding internship offers for students, looking not only locally but also internationally.

GRILLING

There is not much to say. All the departments in the hills are going back to grilling in Povo. It's our turn too!
